PsyQ is a self-discovery app offering informal tests (reasoning, personality, emotional intelligence, and similar). It is built around a simple principle: your answers and results stay on your device.
None. PsyQ has no accounts, no sign-up, and no servers of its own. Your answers, results, history, and unlock status are stored only in the app's local storage on your device. They are never transmitted to the developer, and we have no way to access them.
Uninstalling the app permanently deletes all of this data. There is no copy anywhere else.
Advertising. PsyQ may show rewarded ads served by Google AdMob. When ads are shown, Google may collect device identifiers and ad-interaction data under its own policies. See Google's Privacy Policy and how Google uses data in AdMob. You can reset or limit ad personalization in your device settings.
Purchases. The one-time unlock purchase is processed entirely by the app store (Google Play or Apple App Store). We never see or store your payment details.
Beyond these, PsyQ contains no analytics, tracking, or data-sharing of any kind.
PsyQ tests are for self-reflection and entertainment only. They are informal questionnaires, not clinically validated instruments. Results are not a medical or psychological diagnosis, do not constitute health advice, and are no substitute for consultation with a qualified professional. If you have concerns about your mental health or well-being, please speak to a licensed practitioner.
PsyQ is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone — children included, by design, since the app collects none.
If PsyQ's data practices ever change, this page will be updated and the effective date revised before the change takes effect.
